Rabbi Aryeh Markman

Executive Director Aish LA/Co-Founder & CEO JAS

Rabbi Aryeh Markman is a Jewish leader and the Executive Director of Aish Los Angeles, a role he has held since 1994. After secretly assisting Jewish Refuseniks while working in the Soviet Union, he began a personal journey that led him to Israel, where he studied Jewish learning and was ordained through Aish HaTorah. In 2024, he and a group of visionary businessmen founded the Jewish American Summit to address the defining challenges facing American Jewry. His mission is to connect all Jews to the power of Judaism and to each other, and to inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders.

Mike Drath

Entrepreneur/Co-founder & Executive Producer, JAS

Mike is an Israeli-born, South African–raised business leader with extensive experience across media and consumer technologies, including streaming TV, mobile gaming, social media, and AI. His career spans leadership roles at Disney, Paramount, Deloitte, and Bain, and he has launched and scaled various ventures, including streamer Pluto TV through its successful sale to Paramount. Deeply committed to combating antisemitism, Mike co-founded and Co-Chairs the Jewish American Summit with Aish LA. Beyond his professional and community work, Mike is a tennis fanatic, a passionate music and arts festival attendee, and most importantly, Daddy to his 8 yr old son.

Boris Epstein

Founder, 1st10/Co-founder & Executive Producer, JAS

Boris Epstein is Co-Founder and Executive Producer of the Jewish American Summit, where he helps bring together influential leaders from across business, government, media, and the Jewish community to strengthen Jewish unity and support for Israel. In his professional life, he is Founder and CEO of 1st10, an executive search and capital partner to  leading AI and frontier technology companies. Based in Los Angeles, Boris serves on the Advisory Council of Israel Bonds and volunteers with Magen Am, supporting the safety and resilience of the local Jewish community.

Judy Burkow

Attorney/JAS Co-Chair

Judy Burkow is an attorney, community and civic leader whose career spans entertainment law, business development, and philanthropy. She began her legal career as a litigator before working in Business and Legal Affairs at Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks. She later served as Vice President of Development at The Help Group, organizing several major annual fundraising events. Judy has been on the Advisory Board and Support Council of the UCLA Rape Treatment Center for nearly three decades. She was recently appointed to the City of Beverly Hills Architectural and Design Review Commission, beginning her term in January 2027. She is also helping organize Aish’s Living Legacy Experience trip to Poland in October 2026.

Derek Karpel

Partner, KIG Capital Real Estate/JAS Co-Chair

Derek Karpel is Co-Chair of the Jewish American Summit, where he helps bring together intellectuals, advocates, and political leaders to inform and drive action on behalf of the Jewish American community and in support of Israel. He works closely with community and business leaders across Los Angeles to strengthen Jewish safety, preparedness, and local political advocacy. A former practicing attorney, Derek is the Principal of Karpel Insurance and a partner at KIG Capital Real Estate.

Jared Karpel

Co-Founder KGI/Professor/JAS Co-Chair

Jared Karpel is Co-Chair of the Jewish American Summit, which brings together leaders across all business and government sectors to strengthen Jewish unity in the United States and support for Israel. He is the Founding Partner of KIG Capital Real Estate, KIG Property Management, and Fixology Maintenance & Repair, overseeing $500 million in real estate assets. A former real estate attorney, Jared is a Professor of Real Estate and Business Law at CSUN, a certified firearms instructor and serves on the boards of several Jewish nonprofit organizations.

Laura Stein

Counsel, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP

Laura Stein is of Counsel at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, focusing her practice in the areas of securities fraud class action litigation, complex litigation and legislative law. Laura currently serves on the Israel Bonds National Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Israel Bonds Los Angeles. Laura has also been a leader in many Jewish community organizations including StandWithUs, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles (having served for several years on the PK-12 committee), WIZO, and JNF.

Megan Laskin

Community Leader/Former Prosecutor

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Megan Laskin is a mother of two, former Prosecutor, and dedicated community leader. She has volunteered with several organizations, including Jewish Federation, JFSA, Jewish day schools, and is currently on the board of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Center. Following October 7, 2023, Megan organized two large-scale events that featured diverse speakers where half of the attendees were not Jewish. Most recently, she chaired the 2025 JNF event, raising funds for a medical project in Ashdod, furthering her commitment to fight antisemitism and support Israel. 

Jeff Zucker

CEO, RedBird IMI /Operating Partner, RedBird Capital Partners

Jeff Zucker is the CEO of RedBird IMI and an Operating Partner at RedBird Capital Partners, where he focuses on acquiring, investing in, and building global media, entertainment, and sports content properties. One of the most accomplished leaders in media, Jeff previously served as President of CNN and Chairman of WarnerMedia Sports. He spent 25 years at NBCUniversal, ultimately serving as President and CEO, during which he co-founded Hulu. Jeff is a 14-time Emmy Award winner and three-time Peabody Award recipient.

Jacob Fenton

Jacob Fenton is a partner and talent agent at UTA, where he represents award-winning and emerging actors across the entertainment industry. A graduate of the Wexner Heritage Fellowship, Jacob serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and co-chairs its Entertainment, Media & Communications Division. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of the Television Academy and on the advisory board of Creative Community for Peace.

Richard Sandler

Executive VP, Milken Family Foundation

Richard Sandler is Executive Vice President, Secretary, and Trustee of the Milken Family Foundation, where he has advanced education and medical research initiatives since 1982. He chairs the board of The Jewish Federations of North America and previously led The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. A partner at Maron & Sandler specializing in business law and investments, Richard also serves on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and UCLA Law. 

Jeff Singer

Real estate investor/Business Leader/Philanthropist

Jeff Singer is a real estate investor, business leader, and philanthropist who serves as President of Connecting a Caring Community. He has held leadership roles with organizations including Momentum, Congregation Or Ami, Etta, Shane’s Inspiration, and Aish LA. Through Aish LA’s Jewish Men’s Initiative, Jeff has led more than 120 men on missions to Israel, helping strengthen Jewish identity, leadership, and connection to Israel.

Stephen Samuel

Entrepreneur/Real Estate Developer/Philanthropist

Stephen Samuel is an entrepreneur, business leader, and philanthropist, and the founder of Premier Pharmacy Services and CEO of Evolve Realty & Development, where he leads multifamily real estate development across Southern California. He is also a member of the leadership team at Young Israel of North Beverly Hills and a dedicated supporter of the Jewish community and Israel.

Steven Singer

Deputy Chief Development Officer & Chief Campaign Officer, JFEDLA

Steven Singer is Deputy Chief Development Officer and Chief Campaign Officer at Jewish Federation Los Angeles, where he leads philanthropic strategy and community engagement. A veteran nonprofit executive, he previously held leadership roles at City of Hope and spent nearly two decades leading the Entertainment, Media & Communications Division at UJA-Federation of New York. Throughout his career, Steven has focused on philanthropy, community relations, and building meaningful partnerships between leaders, organizations, and the communities they serve.

Daniel Gryczman

Chair of the Board, Jewish Federation Los Angeles

Daniel Gryczman is Chair of the Board of Jewish Federation Los Angeles and a longtime leader in the Jewish and Los Angeles communities. The grandson of four Holocaust survivors, he also serves as a Governor of The Jewish Agency for Israel, a board member of Camp Ramah in California, and a founder of the California Jewish Action Network. An honors graduate of UCLA and NYU School of Law, Daniel has built a career spanning real estate development, investment, and law.

Judith “Judy” Manouchehri

Judith “Judy” Manouchehri, Esq. is President of the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education, a transactional business and real estate attorney, and a lifelong member of the Beverly Hills community. She has advised on and transacted more than $1 billion in business and real estate deals, bringing her expertise in negotiation, financial analysis, and risk management to her leadership in education. As Board President, Judy champions academic achievement, fiscal accountability, campus safety, and innovative policies that prepare students for the future.

Emily Kane Miller

Emily Kane Miller is the founder and CEO of Ethos Giving, bringing deep experience across government, advocacy, nonprofits, corporate philanthropy, and social impact. Previously, she served as Vice President of Philanthropy & Community Affairs at The Wonderful Company, leading its award-winning philanthropic initiatives. Elizabeth Barcohana

Attorney/Pro-Israel Advocate/Community Leader

Elizabeth Barcohana is an attorney, mother of four, and longtime advocate for Israel with deep roots in the Los Angeles Jewish community. She has spent more than a decade engaging in pro-Israel advocacy online and has built a following of more than 200,000 across X, Instagram, and Facebook. Elizabeth serves as Chair of the Jewish Community Engagement Subcommittee of the California Republican Party, an elected member of the Los Angeles County GOP Central Committee, and a Board Member of the Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council.

Eli Wininger

IDF Vet/Batman Bibas Marathoner

Eli Wininger is a Jewish American-Israeli IDF reservist and Special Forces Master Sergeant who has served nearly 250 days since October 7. A commander in the IDF’s Sayeret Egoz Unit, Eli was the first soldier to receive returning hostages as they left Gaza in October 2025. Having grown up in the United States, he brings a unique dual perspective to his speaking, connecting firsthand experiences from the front lines with the challenges facing Jewish communities worldwide. He has also raised more than $30 million for Israel and completed endurance challenges honoring the victims and hostages of October 7.

For more than a decade, he has worked closely with Holocaust survivors and their families while creating initiatives including the Survivor Torah Project, the Matzeva Project, and the documentary *The Righteous Road Trip*. David Englin

Senior Regional Director, ADL Los Angeles

David Englin is the Senior Regional Director of ADL Los Angeles, leading efforts across Southern California to combat antisemitism, hate, and extremism. A former U.S. Air Force officer and four-term member of the Virginia House of Delegates, David previously served as President of the Los Angeles County Business Federation and Chief Operating Officer of the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Harvard University, he has spent his career in public service, civic leadership, and advocacy.

Andy Buckley

Actor

Andy Buckley is an actor best known for his role as David Wallace on NBC’s The Office, which launched a successful two-decade acting career. A Stanford University graduate and former financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, Andy also competed on Stanford’s NCAA golf team before pursuing acting in New York. A devoted supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, he has more recently become an outspoken advocate for Israel and the Jewish people.

Luai Ahmed

Luai Ahmed is a Yemeni journalist, content creator, and speaker whose journey from growing up under Islamist and antisemitic indoctrination to becoming a leading voice against extremism has reached audiences around the world. A former columnist for Sweden’s *Bulletin*, he now hosts for Builders of the Middle East, promoting interfaith understanding and combating radicalization, antisemitism, and misinformation. Liora Rez is the founder and CEO of StopAntisemitism, a leading organization dedicated to exposing antisemitism and holding those who promote it accountable. Carly Gammill

Director of Legal Policy & Litigation, StandWithUs Saidoff Law

Carly Gammill is a constitutional litigator and Director of Legal Policy & Litigation at StandWithUs Saidoff Law, where she works on issues including freedom of speech, religious liberty, and combating antisemitism. Previously, she founded and led the StandWithUs Center for Combating Antisemitism. For more than a decade, Carly has worked with students, educators, and communities to address antisemitism on campuses, in courtrooms, and at the United Nations, helping individuals understand and protect their legal rights.

Jacki Karsh

Emmy-Nominated Journalist

Jacki Karsh is a six-time Emmy-nominated journalist with more than a decade of experience covering civic life, culture, and humanitarian issues across Los Angeles. She has interviewed leading figures across public policy, national security, philanthropy, business, and culture, and has emceed events for some of the nation’s most prominent institutions. Since October 7, Jacki has led more than 100 conversations on the Israel-Hamas war and media bias. In 2025, she launched the Karsh Journalism Fellowship, dedicated to advancing accurate, thoughtful, and fair reporting on Jewish and Israel-related issues.

Melanie Shiraz

Miss Israel

Melanie Shiraz is Miss Israel 2025–2026, a former data scientist and tech entrepreneur, and one of the most internationally recognized Jewish advocates of the past year. Having represented Israel on the global stage while navigating unprecedented public scrutiny, coordinated disinformation campaigns, and antisemitism, she brings a rare combination of lived experience and analytical expertise to the challenges facing Israel today. Born in Israel and shaped by years spent in the Diaspora—including as a Jewish student leader at UC Berkeley—Melanie offers a unique perspective on the intersection of technology, public opinion, media, and Jewish identity. Today, she advises, speaks, and advocates internationally on combating antisemitism, strengthening Israel’s global standing, and winning the battle for hearts and minds.

Reserve Officer in Special Unit 669, IDF

Captain Y (Res.) Reserve Officer in Special Unit 669, the Israeli Air Force’s elite Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), airborne rescue, and medical evacuation unit. Throughout his service, he has taken part in dozens of high-risk missions, rescuing wounded soldiers and civilians under fire and bringing them safely home. Captain Y was among the Unit 669 operators who participated in Operation Arnon,the historic hostage rescue mission that freed Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv from Hamas captivity. Zach Sage Fox is an award-winning filmmaker, media entrepreneur, and founder of THINK AGAIN, a nonprofit dedicated to combating misinformation through viral digital content. Following the October 7 attacks, he launched Facts for Peace, an initiative whose videos countering Hamas propaganda and antisemitism have reached millions and been featured by the Israeli government, the United Nations, and the U.S. Congress. Through storytelling and social media, he has become a leading voice in the fight against online extremism and antisemitism.

Tanya Tsikanovsky

West Hollywood City Council Candidate

Tanya Tsikanovsky is Head of Development & Operations at Think Again, Senior Advisor at Combat Antisemitism Movement, host of the Highly Jewish Podcast, Fellow at Merage Fellowship by Nas Daily, and a candidate for West Hollywood City Council. An unapologetic Zionist, Tanya has become a leading voice in the fight against antisemitism and online extremism, using media, advocacy, and public engagement to defend Israel, strengthen the Jewish community, and promote democratic and American values.

Timothy Gaspar is a businessman, community leader, and candidate for Los Angeles City Council representing the West San Fernando Valley. After building one of the region’s largest independent insurance agencies, he retired to focus on public service and civic leadership. A longtime supporter of local nonprofits and education, Tim serves on the boards of several leading Los Angeles organizations and is the founder of the Timothy Gaspar Entrepreneurship Scholarship at California State University, Northridge.
